Frame rate and clip length
Frame rate
The pill on the record screen sets frames per second: 30 fps or 60 fps, and on phones that support it, 120 fps or 240 fps slow motion.
- 60 fps is a good default for the rod tip path.
- For the haul, film at 120 fps if you can. The line hand moves fast, and more frames show exactly when the haul peaks against the stop.
- Higher frame rates take a little longer to trace.
You can change the default in You › Frame rate.
Clip length
Two or three casts is plenty, which is what Stop after 3 casts gives you. The app scores each cast and shows the best one first.
Imported clips over 30 seconds take longer to trace. Trim them to the casts you want; see Importing a clip.
