Filming yourself

You can film yourself with no one to help.

1. Prop the phone on a bag, a fence post or a small stand, side-on and level.
2. Tap the shutter. The countdown gives you time to walk into place: 10 s or 5 s, set on the record screen or in You › Countdown.
3. With Voice on, the phone counts down out loud and buzzes on every second, so you can hear it from where you stand.
4. Cast. The app counts your casts as you go and stops recording on its own after the number you chose: Stop after 3 casts by default, or 1 or 5. You can also walk back and tap Stop.

Your video stays on this phone unless you share it. To keep a copy in Photos as well, turn on Also save recordings to Photos in You.
