What it looks like on the trace
In the pause band, the tip keeps moving toward the target after the back-cast stop. The app highlights the stretch between the stop and the start of the forward cast.
Likely causes
- Anticipating the forward cast and starting it early.
- Tension or nerves at the end of the back cast.
- Not waiting for the line to straighten behind you.
