The pause drill metronome

The pause drill is a metronome for your cast: Back, Stop, Pause, Forward, over and over.

1. Open Coach › Drills › Pause drill.
2. The beat is set from your last good cast; the screen says which, for example Pause · from your Oct 2 cast. With no cast yet, it uses a default.
3. Tap Start and cast along. Tap Stop to finish.
4. Use Shorter pause and Longer pause to adjust it. A longer line needs a longer pause.

The phone gives a haptic tap on every beat and a stronger one on the stop, so you can feel it with the phone in your pocket. The screen stays on while it runs.
